How to make Custom Sway Bar End links

Progress Rear Sway bar with Progress Greasable bushings and brackets. Other than the ocassional squeak fixed with some white lithium grease, I think I'm set :D

Just ordered some threaded rod and the rod ends from mcmaster. Along with the nuts and bolts and o-rings from the hardware store and the new MSP rear cross-member Chris ordered for me today, I should have a reliable and worry free rear suspension setup. Can't wait till next weekend now.

yeah i hear ya Ivan, i can finally bolt on the sway bar and put the endlinks on the car now...

got them installed today.

$80, but these are stainless bars with chrome moly endlinks. much stronger and more weather resistant.

so i ordered 8 of the joints from the first post.(for all the way around)

now shoud i stick with the rubber orings or the metal washers? any suggestions?

No orings...lol Just washers.. Post pics when you are done! lol

no rubber?

i'm in the market for new endlinks... either my stock ones are shot... or BC needs to revise there endlink tabs... cuz i keep breaking them :(

Not Nice.... I don't like the clearance over the lip of the stock tokico mounting tab and the rubber o-rings I'm using are just flattening and squshing out. :( I need to change something.

I told you the AWR O-rings were much heavier duty than the ones you picked out. Also, I think that that funnel thing you asked me about is 1) a spacer and 2) the funnel end keeps the o-ring in position. Still looks nice though...

I contacted AWR to see if I could buy just the funnel spacer and o-ring and have yet to hear back. If I can that would be hot :)

EDIT Just talked to Tony at AWR and they are getting me a set of the funnel washers and heavy duty o-rings. The washers are 4 something a pop so with shipping that came to 45 bucks. So in the end I've maybe saved 20 bucks over just buying a set of AWR ones of the the shelf. Not super happy about that. But I do like having something that I made.
