Let it snow, Let it snow.......

Just mounted the Kosei K1-TS 17 by 7, ET 50, wrapped in Dunlop Wintersport M3, 215/50/17. Took my first drive tonight and the car feels more lively and light. Definitely noticed a huge difference in acceleration with the lighter wheels on. Now let's see how they perform in the snow and ice!

By the way, the car had just come down off the jack and hadn't settled or been driven yet, hence the monster truck wheel gap. Stock springs.

That set up looks great. You can keep the snow up there.
I think I may put my all seasons on tomorrow.

got about 3 inches here in Columbia MD today... i bet its about the same up in PA.

you get a chance to test em out?

Had the car out yesterday before the snow. She's well planted with the new shoes on. Ironic that I just mounted them on Firday afternoon and we get snow on Saturday. BTW, I'm from Glen Mills, Delaware County

you didnt happen to go to Penncrest High did you?

Nice!!

Careful with the Kosei's they are light but not very street durable. A friend of mine had bent lips because of his aggressive driving around town with those same rims.

I'll only be using these for winter driving and definitely for track use. When asked the Tirerack advisor said these were durable and very suitable for track use. Do you agree?

Yeah I agree suitable for track use. Not street use. Depending on the roads and their conditions it could vary greatly. Here in FL some roads are better than others.

My exp. I would not risk it.
