Maxx was it you who kept having the engine problems/failure due to #4 heating up due to oiling issues or am I thinking of another person/problem.

Sorry to hear the engine blew again already. I thought those Wossner pistons were "top notch?" What happened to make them fail? Was it structural failire? Can you post pics?

My engine didn't blew, piston number 1 failed at 400 miles doing the break in. something fail and looks like piston came defective from manufacture that's all. nothing broke, nothing blew. I believe s*** happens. Wossner is a well known Hi performance piston company lots of people in here uses them in their race cars, rallye cars etc. but again s*** happens and no one knows when. but in order not to deal with this kind of s*** again i'm going With Wiseco Custom performance pistons and that's about it I think they are better than Arias atleast what's that they look like.. i will post pics of the failed piston later on today when i get home..

so basically what you're saying is the motor no longer functions, but nothing broke... no wonder you've never blown up an engine. lol

is not functioning because they took it apart, even tho the piston head was ****** car was functioning with no problems, idle was perfect, car was booting normal, it was just making a click click noise like it was the solid lifter. we found out when we took all 4 spark plugs out and saw the cylinders and pistons with a special camera my mechanic have and we noticed the click click click s*** wasn't a lifter was piston 1 head ******.

Well funny or not i'm the only one in here that have never blown the engine or snap the lsd or gears or transmission considering the Horsepower i have that nobody else til today have achieved... now laugh all you want sir.......

Btw you have such a sense of humor..... is so funny i'm cracking up !!!!!!

I have a very good feeling the reason nothing ever broke was due to no traction with those nankangs you've been running. Put it to the ground with some stickier rubber and you may be in the same boat :)
 
Ya I recommended that 3 months ago. Hopefully he'll have some soon because I'm running a quarter of his power and have grippier tires...

Well as long as you keep any high horsepower car on street tires you won`t have any problems, to be honest i dont drag race, i dont do quater miles races either so i really dont mind spinning some tires.. Either way check my Streetfire 0-150 video and tell me if you notice any traction issues, Barely spinning tires and perfect launch...
 
90% of the people here that break trannys and gears and LSDs are on street tires. So how do you figure that if you keep street tires on the protege it wont break things?

well if we all are on street tires why are people breaking trannies and gears left and right and others dont including my self... Well the only difference we all have here is turbo size, most of the people breaking trannies and gears are on T25s and T28s... the smaller the turbo are the faster they spool and the more stress they put on the transmission and gears at lower rpms where the risk is at, bigger turbos produces more power but start bulding boost on a different rpm range where the stress is less and have less chances of breaking the gears, lsds, transmission and gears. Having a fast spooling is a time bomb and the proof is why i havent destroyed my bad welded lsd and or my gears, well basically because my turbo spools at 4k instead at 2k putting lot less stress on my gears and lsd, also i dont have a stiff transmission mount, that mount is what really causes s*** to break, i have all around and engine damper but tranny mount and my tranny and gears are still there.... I have not really seen anybody with a GT30 turbo or bigger breaking up anything, but i do have seen people on T25s and T28s breaking even Par Straight cut gears...

Im not saying or trying to say im a bad ass in here or my dick is bigger than yours you know. is just that how the hell i havent blow my engine or destoyed my transmission internals and others have with lot less HP and even on straight cut gears.. You all know what i have and even have seen videos, well you tell me whats up in here then... Im all ears can you explain in here whats going on !!!!!
