Projector headlights for MP3?

mx-p5 will be selling a set soon. he has another set on his wife's pro5. i believe chicoloco has a set as well and some canadian MP3 used to, not sure where his set went.
 
there are a few aftermarket companies that will retrofit just about anything... but you're looking at 500+ easily. none are mass produced for the protege.
 
Only one I found were these, and they cost $695.00!! Ouch!!!

700$ isn't bad at all! The parts I'm using are around 500$ or so and that's not even including good expensive ballasts. Tack on a few hours of labour and 700$ is a steal when you think about it.

That was Revs, whose car I bought after he sold the set to SKY, who then sold the kit to someone else when he got an MS3.

Well for me, that way overkill on the price. Most I paid was $90 bucks for Euro Tail lights for my MP3.

I'll get projectors if I ever see the prices down to around $150 maybe.
 
Ya neither was I. The projectors being used in there are a nice quality compared to the s*** they put in cheap Honda ones...

Then you'll never get projectors, especially pre-made. Depot housings (cheap) are around that price. The street price for non POS bi-xenon projectors (JUST the projectors) is more then what you'd like to pay. Quality bulbs are almost 100$. non bad chinese ballasts are more then what you want to pay.
And how can you be comparing cheap tail lights to projectors? How does that comparison even work???

If you want to pay that little for parts, then buy a Honda. The projectors will be bad because you will be getting what you pay for. Some Honda parts are cheap due to volume, but projectors are expensive. End of story

Yea, guess ur right! Ok, maybe when they go down to $250!! hehehe :)
 
^depending on who is doing the labour and whether he's tearing the engine apart for forged internals, otherwise yes absolutely!
