What have you done to your MSP today?

Dam outlaw sry to hear about the motor, that sucks.
and for you badbander, I just got this great rad cap. LMAO
now need to work on a deal for some exhaust now !!!!

WOOOHOOO!! I just ordered the JDM Lightweight Flywheel for the MSP from Corksport.

In case anybody might be curious, I needed to know the exact weight of the flywheel, so Derrick at Corksport was cool enough to actually grab one and put it on the scale for me. Awesome customer service! Anyway, the JDM lightweight flywheel weighs 16.3lbs with the pilot bearing.

Now I'm super excited!!

Hey man, i'm thinking about ordering that for the P5. How does it drive? Let me know

Took out my battery, Drained the rest of the oil thats not of the road, removed my hot and cold pipe, and removed the front wheels (going to do rear wheels tomarro. Since my car is going to be sitting there for awhile I dont want to do any damage from it sitting to long.

Hopefully will get all the other things out of the way, and maybe start droping the Mani/Turbo/Downpipe tomorrow if I have time.

Why are you removing it in the car? Why wouldnt you just drop it all out the bottom? And then you could separate it when the motor is out of the car? That would be alot easier

I have 3-4 months, I got time. Hahahahah. If my dad would bring the welder home from work I would make myself a 3" downpipe haha, but if my motor I out by Friday, then this weekend I'm going to install the roofcap, that's if I have the motor all appart.

Enjoyed the fabulous turbo weather... and prayed the whole time that 10psi doesn't make tell the same story as outlaw... lol

not everyone has a lift in their garage? LOL

no lie... I'd really like to have my own garage, especially seeing as I'm about to hide a ring in my car...

No seriously, good luck and (pre) congrats dude!

the ring is being hidden for quite some time... so no need for all that yet. lol I just can't hide it in the apartment. gf started working 2nd shift this week so she has WAY too much time to ransack the apartment.. so it hides in the car until I can get it to my rents house.

Theer is a great place to hide things behind thermostate switches in the dash, or under the cup holders. just some ideas. I don't think she's crazy enough to tear your car apart.

its hidden over the driver's side rear shock tower... under the rear dash cover.. My theory is that even if the car got jacked and stripped, they may rip apart the dash, but unlikely for them to go after anything back there...

Yeah until it gets lodged back there so you can't find it / can't get it out. First hard turn you take and it's going flying! lol

Why don't you just leave the car unlocked with a note to criminals to help themselves?

do yourself a favor.. buy a strut brace and take a look at the area I'm talking about.. you'll see its quite safe and secure.

thought about it... figured this was the best solution to keep her from finding it until I can get it down to my rents where it will be stashed.

So your car will get stolen, but not the ring? Kinda back assward but I guess lol

as long as the car gets recovered, worst case senario, I still get the ring back. I'd rather have the car stolen and stripped at this point than for her to find the ring. long as I get the ins payoff on the car and the ring back I'd be fine.

Well, I understood that. But lets just hope that does'nt happen.

Plus you'll get the insurance money for the ring too

I know the area you are talking about. Had to get back there when I did the springs on my old car. IIRC, there's a hole that the top of the strut sits in, but it has a lip around it. I almost lost a nut down there I think...
