09 MS3
so after some convincing im going to build more into my 09 MS3. I dont know a ton about the car. so im sorry if any of my questions are dumb.

first my following mods are..

corksport dp/rp
fujita cai
turbosmart bpv
pg turbo inlet

my plan is to build the car to 300whp if not a little more.

i plan to keep the stock internals for now along with the stock K04.

im looking for any advice that you guys can give me it will be a big help.

next on my list is pg tubular manifold and some new mounts but what will i need to have a reliable 300whp? also if i were to upgrade to a more reliable turbo what would you suggest?

thanks alot for the help!

i mean would the manifold be a good idea... i want a fmic rest of the exhaust and the AP

how much estimated whp would be looking at? any risks?

You need some kind of tuning to effectivley get as much as you can with the mods you have. With a TBE, Mani, FMIC, Full Intake, BPV, Fuel pump internals and tune you should reach well beyond 300. Figuring out a safe tune, however, is a little more tricky. I'm eventually shooting to do the aformentioned projects at a tune of like 17 psi or so.

at what point should i mod the fuel pump? or can i push near 300 without touching the stock internals

Probably soon if not now... you have leaned out the car enough with the Intake and catless exhaust. I guess you would pretty much need to do it if you added a manifold/tune/FMIC. Trust me, you don't want to push it. I personally know a guy who had a TP/Intake/FMIC with no tune and an MBC set to 19 or so who shot a rod through the block after his fuel pump gave out. The car just went from an AFR of like 11.8 to all the way lean in a second.

when u looking for bigger turbo u will need to mod the fp. if u just looking for 300whp with stock internals, all u need is dp/rp, fmic, intake, bov and a tune. (i make 270whp with just intake, bov, and dp/rp.....)

well if i got the ap wouldnt it help me with that? how much can the stock fp hold?

I would say so.

Hell... I want an AP now with my mods. Or a racepipe... but if I do that; after I'm not doing any more mods untill I get an AP/SB.

in my opinion, there's is no need for manifold to reach the amount of power that u asking for. like i said basic bolts on will be good to reach around 300whp with a good tune!!!!

In my sig.

SRI, TIP, BOV (recirced) and no resos... those are the only "power" mods. I have other drivetrain stuff like a TRZ rear motor mount and shifter bushings and a removed shifter counterweight and whatnot... but those are the only power mods I have (I wouldn't even count the resos).

Before, my engine blew I had nearly the same mods as you except I had a fmic. I got the car dyno'd and they checked my afrs and i was running lean. I also got some fuel cut so I'd recommend adding some fuel and tuning first. If your going to get serious with the car go ahead and build the motor so you can choose any big turbo to upgrade with.

Get an AP and then a custom tune and you should be pretty close to 300. Keep an eye on the fuel pressure since the pump is one of the areas where Mazda skimped.
