Bought these tires last year when they where on sale at Canadian Tire. Got my wheels at Walmart cause Crappy tire said that they didn't carry any of the stealies to fit the Mazda. The tires performed really well, once they finally got them all mounted correctly as they are directional. We had the most snow here that we've had for about forty years, I was never dissapointed with the grip of the tires, especially for the price.

I got my set about a month ago when they were last on sale. I'm pretty sure that I paid about $690 plus taxes etc. for the same tires on steel rims. The scary thing is when I went to mount them they're actually larger in diameter than my stock 205/60R16's go figure.
I had the Nordics on my old Ford and they're now on my Brother-In-Law's Lumina and they're great tires for the price.

Some local Mazda dealers have some killer deals on 205/55R16 unless noted otherwise mounted and balanced on OE steelies (aka NOT multifits that Canadian Tire has), tire levies and BC HST included

Firestone Winterforce $778.39 (similar in performance to the Goodyear Nordics)
BF Goodrich Winter Slalom KSI $890.39
Gislaved Nord*Frost 5 or General Tire Altimax Arcitcs $894.88
Bridgestone Blizzak WS-60 (195/60R16) $918.40
Yokohama iceGuard iG20 $963.20
Toyo Observe G-02 Plus $969.92
Michelin X-Ice Xi2 $1002.39

No thank you to Goodyear Nordics.

Yepper, Mazda told me last year that they also include some kind of wheel cover or center cap of some sort.

The local Mazda dealer also stocks steelies and winter tread, including wheel covers. However, the starting price is $1000 before tax and levy. For Conti's I think.

Mazda dealers can order in any BF Goodrich, Bridgestone, Firestone, Toyo, Yokohama, Michelin, etc. tires. I ordered Toyo Observe G-02 Plus which they don't normally carry but were able to order it in for me within a few days... there's an additional $50 instant rebate going on to as part of Mazda's Get a Grip event for snow tires... so I got them $913.16 out the door and that wasn't their normal special -- $144 less than the next cheapest quote I got from another tire dealer. You don't have to settle for whatever special they might have, they'll still hook you up with a very good price on almost any other tire you might want.
