Can Someone help me out here?

OK, i ordered a short shift kit from dabears2k.com about 10 months ago. I have yet to recieve this shifter and i have emailed the company and even left messages on their answering machine. I talked to a guy that "represented" the company, and he was of no good use either. Any ideas of what i can do? I just want my damn STS!

if you paid w/ a credit card, call their account center & contest the charge. they'll issue you a temporary credit until they resolve the investigation. once the cc company finds you never received anything, the credit will be permanent.

happened to me quite a few times when i was overly active on ebay. live & learn...

dood that is almost a year ago,,,,

why don't you cancel your order and purchase it from a different vendor??

I was going to say that I think you have the right to make a stink on other forums where he is more present..........Then I went to check the other forums, and he has been banned for shady business practices.. Hopefully you payed via credit card or paypal and if so file a charge back.

I was lucky I guess last year that I only bought foglight films from him, though was pissed when I paid 10 dollars and got the films in an envelope with a ******* 41 cent stamp on it.

why are you doing this after 10 months? you should be doing it after about a month or less from not receiving the package.
i would say file dispute to your credit card if he already charged your card. but i doubt it it will happens cuz it is 10 months ago...

dang, 10months? i've only bought the smoked sidemarkers and smoked film for reflectors...had good turn around time both times....

i also bought some stuff from him, and the sts was a preorder, but upon asking where it was, all i got was a "it'll be available to you when we get it" bit. I am currently noticing that the website says that the site is under new management. I hope they take my email seriously, b/c if not, then they have another thing coming...

Sadly dabears2k went way way downhill. He had some of the greatest selection and service over several different forums. Then he sold knockoff BOVs, GT spec bracing, and..... something else..... as genuine products, in addition to several other things. That's what led to the ban on M3F. As soon as that all hit the fan his business took a serious dive, and sadly people are still getting screwed by him.

To the OP. Your best bet is going through the CC company like others have said. Again you would have been much better served doing this a lot earlier, but hopefully you can still get your money back. GL.
