Mazda Protege Owner Photos

hah. no ill just keep my eye out on the clubprotegequebec forums.
alot of them sell for 200-300.
but what brands and optimum drop do you think would be ideal?

i want slammed

i want slammed

You need at least a 2 inch drop if you want it slammed. If thats the case I would probly go coilovers. Otherwise you need to get some really aggressive lowering springs and some adjustable struts.

And $200-$300 for what? Struts and springs?

yeah, used.
ppl who are parting out.

the thing is, since its one of the only french mazda forums, everyone from the GMA is there.
so there is alot more option to buy things cheaper.

so for struts the tokico illuminas would suffice?
any suggestions on the springs though?
coilovers are a little WAY out of my budget

Ya illuminas are a decent adjustable. I don't know spring rates and drops off the top of my head. You'll have to look into that. I'm sure you can search the forums and find an ample amount of info from other peoples prior experiences with different springs.

im runnin the illuminas and coilover sleeves from groundcontrol, and it might as well be track stiff, so if you dont mind the stiffness go for it. I dont mind it at all. but that will have you at a good ground clearance, unless u plan on runnin with the bc2 kit later.(yippy)

Yeah, they're just mean't to talk about cars, share ideas and just hang out with friends (2thumbs)
