Changing Dash Lights Advice

For those of you who are changing the dash lights to LEDs or something I have a piece of advice. Don't drop the circuit board like I did. Not too bright on my part, the needles broke and didn't work. Luckily my friend I was doing the work with was experienced in circuit boards so he quickly found the problem and helped me fix it. Even then the needles were jumpy and everything, for those of you who ran into that problem also just pry the needles a little bit off to stop them from rubbing the dash and you should be good. Another piece of advice, these LEDs are a b&%$# to solder. They're way to small for a 17 year old to do, took a lot of concentration and precision.

I want to do this bad, seeing as how I have blue LED's and blue dash trim and speaker/hvac rings, the red looks a little awkward to say the least....and I'm only 18 so **** =X

Yep, I'm 17. But I just found out my friend has won awards for soldering computers and stuff so I'll be letting him try it out. I'm using green, I don't like the red either. I also put green LEDs in the maps and dome. It looks good.

Red and blue on dash's are the best to have because it doesn't change your eyes... when you look down at the dash then into the night your eyes don't have to refocus.

Haha the only time I look at my dash osto see fuel level or to see if I have broken my speed record.
