Chip to fool ECM when header installed

(doh)Hey Guys. I have not been here in a long time, I see that many people have done alot for there mazdas. Great !!!I was wondering if anyone can help me remember the chip(resistor and Capacitor) use to fool the computer when headers are put on the engine, so that the MaL Func. light can turn off and also burn fuel as intended. Anybode remember how to make it or where to buy it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

your best bet is to search for "non fouler trick" or "MIL eliminator". the non fouler trick is alot easier than the resistor method.

get this from napa drill it out, screw in the senson, then screw it to the header, reset ECU and done

Wow this sounds interesting WojTek. By doing this Im guessing the tip of the sensor will get little exhaust therefore make the computer think there is a cat in between?
Or does it do something else? I am sure this is old news but lets just say I've been busy and off the maZda forum for years

That muffler mated up with ANY header will cause spontaneous abortions within a 5 mile radius. Stay away!!

The non-fouler trick works by taking the 2nd 02 sensor out of direct path of the exhuast gases... see sig for further how-tos.

i have an obx header, custom catless midpipe, and MS axle back and it really dosent sound THAT bad. I'll try to get a vid of it tomorrow
