In honor of those 16yr olds with MS3s...
Everyone please post what vehicle you drove when you were 16. Oh and by the way, im totally just jealous.

EDIT:
OK ladies and gents....

I have cleaned this thread up and I am about to change the title.

Post the car you had a 16. If you have anything judgmental to say keep it to yourself or get an infraction.

This is a decent thread with a good spirit behind it so don't ruin it. again.

Ill start...when i was 16 i drove a $400 89 honda civic hatch. Which i paid cash for with my first check from Mcdonalds.

16 years old i had a 1989 ford escort gt, 5 speed, with the 1.9 liter High Output motor(breakn)

p.s...it had 190,000 miles on it before i hit a tree

Well at 17 when i got my full license here in good old NY, i had a 1978 CJ-7...man i loved that thing.

'89 Ford Bronco II 5spd w/cruise control. My 2003 MSprotege didn't even come with cruise control lol. What a piece of junk that bronco was, but I have to say it got great mileage and was rock solid in the snow.

When I was 16, I woke up early, got my license right away but had nothing to drive. A month later, my dad awarded me a 94 Grand Am with over 140,000 miles and no heat, and the rear brakes did not work AT ALL. I would smoke through front pads.

You think 16 y/o MS3 owner's are spoiled? Try talkin with the kids who are 16 and got brand new 350z's. Spoiled bastards..

I think I have a winner.

1980 Buick Skylark in Burnt Orange... it was 21 years old, with 20K miles on it... she could legally drink, and boy did she. 173 ci engine sucked down gas like it was goin outa style.

At 16 I was driving a 06 eclipse fresh off of the show room floor bought it like 6 months before I turned 16 thats my DD now and the speed 3 is for weekends.

I wasn't allowed to get my license till I was 17. I think my parents sensed trouble.

Had a '93 Dodge Spirit that was a hand-me-down from my dad. That car hated life .. but I can't bash it too badly, it got me around for four years before I got my MSP!

when i was 15 i bought a 95 nissan 200sx, guy was selling it for 3500 i gave him 1200 cash and he took it, it was a really fun car

on my 16th bday i got my license and came home to a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon 2.6 V6 GT Limited.. loved the car and how it looked, hated the power. was slow as hell. lol

Woot!! 1993 Ford Ranger.. was Barney Purple, Grey and Black when i bought it for 900 bucks..Repainted the Whole truck..these are the before and after pics..did 80% of the work myslef..

I miss it..wish i had kept it but needed the cash at the time so it had to go..

I got my license 2 weeks before my 16th B-Day and didnt have a car yet... My uncle restores american classic cars for a living, so for my 16th B-Day i was given a 69 GTO Judge (I still have it to this day) ... To afraid to actually drive it i cashed in all my bonds and bought a 91 supra turbo targa that the guy up the road was selling, the head gasket went a month later and the turbo seized, so in need of car for work i bought a 90 turbo ii rx7 that was in the paper. My uncle and I ended up redoing the motor and such on the supra, like 2 months later, so i ended up keeping it and switching between the rx7 and the supra till i was about 18.

well...i was going to get a 2005 Mazda 6i Sport Hatch, but my parents decided to give it to my sister, and I got a lightly used MS3.

...oh, and you want spoiled? There is a kid at my school that drives a Lotus Elise. Brand New.

got my car at 17 97 altima. i wish my parents bought em a car but my dad would laugh in my face if i just got my license and asked for a new car.

2005 Mazda 6s was technically my first car... good car and we still have it. Got it from my dad as a hand me down when I turned 16... they bought the MS3 for themselves. My mom took it too and from work. When winter rolled around my mom couldn't take the MS3 because it was and still is on the OEM potenzas... so she just started taking the 6 in December. I used the MS3 when weather would permit because she was at work with the 6. When spring rolled around she just kept taking the 6 because she said the automatic was much better to commute with in traffic and she still got good mileage with it. So basically, out of luck, the car was handed down to me and became "mine." I love this car and am so gratefull to have it. I hope to have it through the time that it craps out on me and dies when I'm like 30.
