How To KILL Yellow Jackets

You can make a bee/wasp/yellow jacket trap by using 2 liter bottles.

Cut off the top, invert it, tape it in place, then pour a little sugar water in the bottom. They should go in for the sugar, then they will bee trapped.

I would do that to thin out their ranks, then attack the heart of their operation.

I'm amazed at how much response you got on this Santos...

That is just how entertaining Santos and I are. Plus, the WI folk are getting pissed at us posting about this in the "random chatter and banter thread", even though that is exactly what this is, but whatever.

That does not work. Note in that one pic, that green lantern shaped object that is suppose to lure them in and kill them with a scented liquid that is suppose to attract them, just like the homemade bottle would. Not one single wasp has gone in there.

the idea of gasoline sounds like it would work very good, find the nest, drench it in gas
make a line of gas far away to a safe distance, pull out the matches and BAM
all the wasps are toasted

should work

Uhhhhh............did you read the part about the nests being located behind WOOD timbers?

I would add a vote to getting the long-stream wasp/hornet killer stuff. That way you're not close, because it will piss them off. Even if you have to do that several times, it will get rid of them. I would get a couple different kinds to use too.

The raid works awesome. Actually got rid of a nest last year that was more easily accesible. My vote goes with that as well. Possible the soapy water too.

For those of you stupid enough to come, see disclaimer link below.

Santos, are you bringing the camcorder? I don't have one. If you don't either, bring Go Fast to document this, LOL! Have him read the disclaimer first though!

Or anyone with a cool phone that has high video capacity.

I'll see what I have. Go Fast goes nowhere. His wife doesn't allow him too.

Keep some of those benadryl strips that you can dissolve on your tongue on hand...and epipens if anyone is severely allergic.
