the car i'm lookin at has boost gauge, wideband, and oil pressure

if i get an SS AFC, do i need the fuel gauge too? Or does the wideband cover it?

fuel pressure (edit: gauge) is completely unnecessary unless you believe you're close to maxing out your pump.

boost and wideband are really all you need to tune it... and datalogging (ssafc V2) makes it MUCH easier.

oh, nevermind then

So, the gauges in teh car already are all i need, unless i wanna add oil temp and coolant temp?

stock coolant temp gauge is fine really... and for your mod plan, oil temp is unnecessary if you ask me.

if you like having gauges for the sake of gauges, go right ahead, but if its because you believe you need to monitor your engine that closely... I don't see it as necessary.

I have a cheap temp gauge and oil pressure gauge that I've just had forever... and I thought about putting em in just for giggles, but theres really just no real point... and I'd rather have the dash pocket. I refuse to put in an A-pillar pod.

it was necessary for my motor

well, maybe not oil temp, but, coolant temp FO SHORE cause i overheated while the dummy light said i was ok

and the current gauge pod in the MPS is below the radio, and i too don't want an Apillar pod.

I would LOOOVE the dual gauge cluster that goes around the speedo gauges, but, that's more money.

I might just get an individual pod from ForceFed for the coolant temp gauge and put boost there and coolant temp below the radio

steam billowing out of engine bay and me pulled over from 45 and not till i pulled over, popped the hood, then went and looked and THEN it decided to start creeping

oye... thanks... and the MSP runs hot by default. you just gave me paranoia. now I gotta go make a 2 gauge DIN mount. lol

speaking of smoke billowing... saw blue smoke POURING off this truck on the freeway this morning... newer chevy full size... and I was confused as to how a truck that new would smoke a motor.....

got closer... left front tire was damn near shredded.... on a truck that size HOW do you not notice the left front corner is down... nearly a foot?

hmm....turns out i still owe $5700 on my car, not enough that if i sell it, i can do TOO well to get the MSP for 8K

*thinking out loud*
Sell my car for 7500, sell off parts for 1k(+) and have 8.5-9k

pay off car for 5700, have 2-3k, apply for loan for 6k, have no money for mods

stock is fine too, just curious how'd that'd work.....

oh, stock is MORE than good for me honestly!!

and that'll give me time to find the stuff used for better prices! lol

thoughts on prices? Honestly! This is NOT FS thread, just trying to gauge prices

Having to figure if stuff'll sell

I'm lookin at about the same numbers when I was trying to trade up... and threw the towel in on the idea because of what I realized. honestly, not to be a jerk, but I think selling for 7500 is unrealistic. I'm having NO offers come in for my car over 8K...
