so the idiot from mazda put the bolt to remove the tube from the throttle body way up underneath it and i don't see anyway i can get to it, extentions are to long and just the ratchet is to short, anyone got any ideas?

You might try some swivels to attach to the ratchet and or an extension. The problem is you usually need to guide the the socket to the bolt. There are shorty ratchets. and angled styles too. Look at a Snap On catalogue and see if you can get any ideas. Good luck!

i finally got it, not that bad of an install, some parts were more of a pain in the ass than others, but nothing compares to the damn c clip for the bov and snap ring plyers!

ok finally got it all done, I also put on the HKS SSQV BOV at the same time(I did not "reclock" it, is that necessary or is it just for fitment?), got in it to take it for a spin and when i first got on it in 1st it accelerated really hard then backfired a bit and is now really really sluggish, it even died when I came to a stop. It seems like it is struggling for air. I also cleaned my CAI and the filter might be a little damp still. Other than that I don't know what else it could be....it is also blowing black smoke out the exhaust, way more than normal. Any ideas? I disconected the battery again to see if that helps.

thats is where u went wrong with installing more than one mod at the same time. now u gotta figure out which one is causing the problem. the backfire could most likey be because of the bov. try it in full recirc and make sure everything is on and tightened up and adjusted properly. if that doesnt work then go back and check everything on the intercooler. also, when u say the filter is a little damp what do u mean? did u re-oil it after cleaning it? did u over oil it? or is it a dry filter and u just cleaned it and didnt let it dry all the way?

The car dying when stopped seems to me that its a vacuum leak or a tube slipped off somewhere on the intercooler piping. The car is probably in limp mode which is why it is really sluggish. Check all the piping and all the vacuum lines. Swap back to the stock BPV if all the intercooler stuff is tight to see if the HKS is the problem.

had a loose pipe, it was way late and couldn't see it till the next day, got it all fixed up and it runs like a champ now! thanks for the ideas
