Will this setup work?

Rims: Enkei RPF1's 17x8 with +45 offset or 17x7.5 with +48 offset
Tires: 225/45/17 Hoosier A6's
Suspension: BC coilovers with as little drop as possible

I figure the tire diameter is not a problem because it is close to stock. Also figured that the rims are ok because my Tenzo's are +45 so there is no issue with them but they have the stock 215/45/18's on them. Will this work without rolling the fenders? I've seen some cars lowered on H&R's with 225/40/18's without issue and figure this should be no problem. Any input would be great.

How about a 17x7 with a +42 offset? Will that clear the brakes and avoid rubbing with the tire used above?

I'm no expert but I would think you'd have no problems at all. Going with 17 rims and keeping the sidewall at 45, you're gaining an inch of room or so right there.

Bump

still wondering people (scratch)

Contact Good-Win-Racing.com. I think I saw pics of a Speed 3 (or maybe a regular 3) from there with 17" RPF1's. They'll probably know if there are caliper clearance issues or anything.

Keep us posted... that is a setup that I wouldn't mind trying.

You'll be fine with 17x8's with 235/45's. Some people run 17x9 +45 with 245/40's and are lowered a lot but rub in the rear. But that's why you roll your rear fenders.
