What have you done to your P5 today?

installed a racing beat rsb today.

holy s*** what a difference. It turns in waaaaay tighter, and feels way more solid and planted through turns. Best 75 bucks ive spent on my car.

Absolutely! The Racing Beat sways kick ass.
The front is a total PITA to install, but the handling improvement is more than worth the time, money, and effort.
I've been all grins since I put 'em both in a year ago.

Congrats!

As for my P5, it sits in the driveway begging for a wash... just finished a house project in time to make it to the 4th bbq so just can't make it happen today... maybe tomorrow...

I'm going to have to disagree on that point... along with most of the folks who race these things. It tends to aggravate the push that the car has naturally, and makes it harder to put power down.

I will agree, having installed one, that it is a humongous pain in the satchel to swap lol

X2...better to run a stock front bar and a upgraded rear bar.

And x2 helped changed one bar before never again

Well I had to back out of the Microtech deal with Bala due to a long story concerning the financial aid office here completely messing up my student refund for this quarter. Ugh.

That means that it's back up for sale by Bala and the least I can do is throw a shameless plug for it. The link is in my sig. Bala has been nothing short of awesome about the whole thing. The link is in my sig. (thumb)

washed her.

Cleaned my EGR valve following the handy How-To on here. I didn't notice any difference but then again, my P5 idles well anyway...

I thought that looked familiar, I have seen hundreds of pics of that building from when I was more active in UE.

Today's story....

Driving home on highway at 70 mph. Loss of power and bogging. CEL flashing. Pull over and pop hood. Can't figure it out. Get back onto the road and she drives home perfectly fine. Check the code, P0300. Great. Go to advance auto. Buy NGK iridiums, oil, oil filter, Engine Restore, brakleen for EGR valve and dielecric grease. Also have them order coil packs. Get home, pull plugs. All look alright except one (3rd one from left if looking down at engine). Put new plugs in and torque to factory specs. Clear the CEL with OBD scanner. Start it up. Runs perfect. Change oil (way overdue) and add engine restore. Start it up and let it warm up. Take it out for a spin and take it easy a bit. Gun it a couple times. Runs great. Tomorrow I will be cleaning the EGR valve and swapping the coil packs. The coil pack from the bad looking plug looked just as bad. I cleaned it off before putting it back in. Hopefully everything will be ok.

Put the new coil packs and wireset on today and the car is running great. Also got a couple of estimates from two body shops for the rear bumper cover damage. His insurance company should be coming through with the check sometime in the very near future. Yay for me!!

IMHO (and believe me, it is VERY humble) I've enjoyed having the front racing beat... but I do not race the car and do not have much in the way of power to put anywhere... :)

I definitley leave the serious upgrade advice to y'all with MUCH more knowledge and experience with the differences.

Yay for you indeed! (yippy)

These came to day!!

Look to be pretty good quality for a total of $35.
Only thing that has me in the wiring harness.....

I think I know what they are trying to do, but the way its wired is odd.
I am thinking it is better to tap directly into the interior lighting relay than the door switches...Any suggestions?
