So i go to my dealer the other day for my second oil change (@ 7200 miles). I bring my own Castrol Syntec for the oil and guess what he says...
" This engine was not made for synthetic oil. There are seals in the engine that are degraded by synthetic oil. The only cars I've seen this happen to were by owners who used synthetic oil. If we use your oil then I have to put a note on your warranty. If your engine has a similar failure then it will not be covered. "
Something along those lines....What Bull s***! I want to ******* use Synthetic oil and he basically bullied me into using regular Mazda brand 5W-30. I drive my car pretty hard most of the time so I want to have oil that will not break down as easily.
What do you all think I should do???
