OK, so I bought an HKS SBOV and need some help

I got this used from a good friend. It is the HKS blow off valve but I can't tell what model. It is for sure a BOV because I don't see the part on the end for the recirculation. I also need the flange adapter. So, here is my question, can I purchase the recirculation fitting from PG and use this one, or is that for another HKS BOV. Here is the fitting I'm talking about.

Here is the BOV I believe I have, but I will pick it up and can post pics tomorrow.

I have to buy the insert. Only one I seen was on the PG for 40 bucks. I need the flange too which will be about 40 more I think. Anybody recommend anyone else that may have some more options, or a little cheaper?

yeah iu want that purple one, supposedly makesa really orgasmic sound, known to make womans pants melt at hearing point

on HKS site, i can get the purple circle one for 30, i would just check there

After looking and reading about these they look like they are the BOV inserts just to change the pitch, and this silver one is for th recirculation. I mean I guess you could use a fitting to secure it to the end, but since it's gonna be cover anyway, shouldn't I just go with the silver one?

SSQV Insert

The HKS SSQV silver triple-fin discharge design produces a powerful and unique aggressive blow-off sound along with added visual distinction. Additional triple-fin inserts are available in gold (standard high frequency sound) for visual appeal and in purple metallic (emits a lower frequency sound than both the standard and gold SSBV inserts) for an alternate sound and appearance. SSQV inserts are easily interchangeable within minutes.

Her is the recirculation kit for 55 bucks

or the fitting only for 18 buck for the 1" or 33 bucks for the 19 and 29mm. What's the difference, and which do I need?

Running the fins means you neet to run it VTA though... right?

That's what it looks like to me. That's why I think I am gonna have to go with the silver recirculation kit. I have heard they don't run well in the VTA mode. SOmeone correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm getting this one mainly cause I'm getting it for dirt cheap. Dude is a good friend and is pretty much giving it to me, so I just want to make sure it's a good choice and I can make it work.

running vta w/out a tune will make your af richer and you will see more frequent back fires - it's really not a good idea -
recirc. is not only a better idea if you are still on the factory ecu map but it's better for the life of your turbo
just be careful b/c there a couple fitment issues w/it
1. most of the recirc. fittings out there are just a little too small for the stock recirc. hose and you will have to use a worm clamp to squeeze it down
an aftermarket hose would be best and there is a guy looking to go half for one on the forum right now
2. unless you have gone fmic you can't put it in the exact same position as the stock bypass valve b/c the vacuum line on the top will hit the plastic air inlets for the stock tmic - you have to tilt it forward a little

also if you just got the bov you will need the flange/snap ring kit to put it on the stock location

I already looked into the flange and the recirc valve. There are 2 different options for the recirc 1", 19mm or 29mm. which one should I get. There is also a 1.25 on the PG that may be better

you don't have an aftermarket hose - you can use the stock one, but the only way you can tilt it forward so it doesn't hit the plastic stuff i talked about it will cause a little kink in the hose - it really will recirc and work just fine this way - see mine
but if you wanna get the hose this is the guy i was talking about

if not that su sells a silicone hose as well - they actually sell everything but the recirc fitting they sell is from cpe and is only 1"
