Well got bored.. and decided I wanted to do something different with the insede of my car. So I covered my a and b pillars with black suede. I will do the back hatch pieces and the headliner eventually. Let me know what you guys think..

not too bad. If you incorporate that look into other areas of the interior it would look better IMO or even use a different color suede that matches the headliner "gray"

Holy Big Pictures Batman! (edit: he fixed it)

Ya not too bad, only think through it off is the grey seat belt adjuster doohickey. Post it up if you finish more of the interior with it.

I like the general idea but I don`t think I would have gone with suede. Maybe pleather or, better yet, the real thing?

If you had an '08.5+ GT, I could see doing the headliner in a matching Alcantara. Other than that, not feeling the A/B pillars.

Agree with Kain, Would go really nice with GT. I think it will look better with the headliner done, cool idea

I'd be inclined to do the door panels as well. It looks good, but clashes a little with the existing materials. Maybe swap out all the fabric on the panels to suede before doing the headliner. You ought to write up a how-to, as I'd be interested in knowing how to do this.

It looks decent. Not as bad as I thought before clicking on this thread. I agree that the headliner would complete the look. But the caveat would be a super dark interior - dunno how that would look.

I second the motion for an Alcantara headliner. (cheers2)
Though I'm not ballsey enough to do it myself. I'm not sure how difficult it would be to do it right.

Not too bad if you have upholstery skills and access to a giant roll of Alcantara. :) I think most people would have a specialty shop do it for them. I'm sure a custom Alcantara headliner would not come cheap.

The more I think about this the better it looks in my mind's eye. I'm gonna price this out at some upholstery shops for curiosity's sake. At least w/o a sunroof this should cut down on some of the labor cost... I hope.
