How do you guys feel about 104 unleaded octane?

any input on how a bolted up ms3 like mine would run on 104 unleaded octane? anything that i would have to worry about? pros cons...critics????

More or less the same unless the ECU was retuned to take advantage of it.

^^^yea it would need a tune to change the timing enough where the octane would actually make a big difference.

but with that type of octane you could really increase your boost/compression...whatever to get lots of power. but then you might want to do up your internals a little beefier to handle it

i think it is a waste of cash in most cases, including this one, and you should not mess with that car. Pump some super unique fuel(91-93) in there and have fun

I've heard its really good mixed 3 parts 104 octane to 2 parts premium vodka.

it might give you a little extra boost(1hp?) for those times when you are at the track but as a daily drive type thing, i don't think it is necessary or will have nay noticeable advantage. Maybe he knows different though, it was his car after all.
