MS3 Owners: Show us your wheels

Depending on what car you're looking at BBS LM are tired/played out wheels. You may have broke out of the trend that a lot of MS3 guys are in, but overall BBS LM are in the end tired/played out wheels too. Not "hating" either, it's just the truth. I bought, eeek gad yes, Tenzo DC-5 before even seeing/looking on the forums to see what others have because I liked them. I actually like the BBS LM too, almost bought a set for my last car but someone on the forums had them already, so I went a different route.

Kudos for being different though, it is clean.

In the Euro crowd LM's are very popular but then again so are LM reps.

everything you can ever imagine on a car is tired/played out, who gives a ratsass what someone else has just do your thing, 99% of the time someone else has already done it, or didnt do it because it would be retarded

and some of us buy the rotas/tenzo's because they are cheap, why pay 3500 bucks for rims when you live in a city were there is a pot hole every 5 feet? i rather scratch up my $200 rota than a $800 BBS, the rota ill trash and get a whole set for the price of one BBS

And as long as you're happy that's all that matters.

I </3 your fake wheels.

My DC-5 may be on their way out in favor of Black 17x9 RPF1 wrapped in Z1 Star Specs. I also need coilovers though, can't decide which I want to go for first. I'm on H&R springs right now. Want to start tracking my speed.

I think I'm going to pull the trigger on a set of these, but maybe an inch bigger to really fill out the wheel openings. Should I go with 235's or 245's?

I'll take the Porsche... one of my dream cars for the last 40 yrs. You can have the Lotus, GM. The Porsche is a bit more practical and refined.

Wonder if he's near Stafford Va. I played with an Orange Exige just like that on some back roads out this way last year.

Might have been him. He put the rays wheels on there sometime last year. Someone rear ended the Exige (he kept saying "how do you rear end an orange car?") While that was being fixed he picked up a WRX STI on fire sale as his DD.

I read his thread over on Nasioc. Has do you know if he likes the car now? He was pretty underwhelmed with it when he bought it.

The STi or the GT3?

If it's the GT3, he said he's signed up for some DE and track days. I was telling him that driving it at 7 or 8/10ths would probably wake that thing up. But, he's going from a Lotus to a Porker. Biggest thing is, this is not his first P-car. He has (or had, I have not gotten an update in a while) a silver 993 turbo that was being repaired after a lawn truck rear ended that thing.

Yeah, the GT3. IIRC, he wasn't even sure that he wanted the GT3, but got it since he likes to try different cars out and since these aren't available anymore, he jumped on the first one he could find. He even let his friend drive the car back home (600 miles i think) because he just wasn't in love with it right away.

anyway. /threadjack

O.Z. Palladio 18x8 48mm, Falken FK-452 225/40R18

Dickwads at Discount Tire already marred every wheel installing them, after I specifically said "I want you to be careful, not fast - these are expensive wheels". Two of them have light surface scratches, and the others have chips around the lugs. I should've inspected them before I left, but I was in a hurry.

I believe you just contradicted yourself there.
