What have you done to your P5 today?

I too was afraid the first time i put the turbo on my old MP3. First time i blew a charge pipe off,, omg. it was the pipe from the IC to the Maf, blew off the IC and the t bold clap was dragging on the ground. My friend behind me yelled over the nextel, SPARKS. and i had no boost so the car was running like s*** and there was a pop when it happened. Thought i blew the motor heheh.
 
Anyone need a good spare engine? I need to find a buyer since the person I thought would buy it backed out last second. 95k on it. PM me.

I'm going to be driving down to Florida on May 14th. It's an 800 mile drive and I was wondering what all I should do to prep the car. I don't think my coolant has been changed for a while and my tranny oil hasn't been changed for as long as I know. (I have an auto). How easy is it to change the coolant and what other things should I do before making the trip? Thanks guys.
 
if you are able to, to do a full flush, valve bodies gotta come out if you want to flush yourself

otherwise, spend the $100 and have it pumped at an oil change shop

other than that, check tire pressures, check all fluid levels, and you should be good to go
 
well..... while working onthe car yesterday, i found out where all my oil is going. the turbo is eating it. the manifold is dry, just carbon. the turbo on the other hand is all black and sludge like...i also noticed oil leaking from a crack in the weld on the down pipe where it meets my flex pipe. so yea.... need a new turbo. any one know of any deals on a t3/t4 with the 5 bolt exhaust? I want another garrett or turbonetics, the ebay 150 shipped with oil feed kit and 38mm wg stuff scares me....

The valvebodies can stay in for the flush...just pick up a case of trans fluid drain what you have in there and fill it back up...drive around for 10min, drain, fill, repeat...usually takes 12-14qts to get everything exchanged

got my car cleaned and waxed yesterday...she shiney, but i have some s*** to deal with, rust around the windows from one collision repair and shipping clear coat from another.....i was not at fault with either one, both hit and runs one while parked....



where can one get some paint to match,,,,,i really need to redo both bumpers
 
Oh...the yellow is hard to match...when my car was painted from when 1st wrecking it, they had to paint/repaint 4 times before the match was good enough...

Pretty sure Robert is coming over in a few hours to help me get started on it...
