So guys I was looking around on the mazda3 forum for ideas and found the thing for the HD lip so i read up on it and tried it and I think it looks good so here is a couple of pics tell me what you guys think(cool)?(notcool)?

(10)(rofl)That's awesome!!! Who needs to spend a hundred bucks when you can do it for under $20!!! Looks just like the baysonr one and probably more durable!!! Someone should try it on the 06/07 blunt face five! I wish I'd of thought to try this before hand, I'd gladly settle for the HD lip over mine.

JDM Lip= $105+ paint ($100+)+3m tape($15)+screws ($3) total=$223+ just for the front lip!!!
Hmmmmmm....so if I mess up my JDM lip I'm screwed...if I mess up my HD lip...eh I've spent more on lunch....
I've bookmarked this guys site and use it from time to time, alot of helpful info compatible with our 5s.

I've had plenty of body kits, and lips on my previous cars, and this one may seem hoaky, at least that's what I thought. But when you screw up a $1000-plus body kit, you begin to wish you hadn't spent that much on the kit. I've seen the HD lip on Mazda3s before and it doesn't look like the weatherstrip it is....The first time I saw one, I didn't even notice it was the HD lip, until someone mentioned it was just the rubber seal..Hahaha I thought it was just some factory front lip because it actually matched the black plastic pretty well on the 3s. The 3M tape that holds it is really strong stuff, the same stuff holding my 5's Lip...I'm still thinking that this might work, I'm freaked to hell that when my wife gets back and starts driving the 5 again my JDM lip is gonna be history....a soft pliable inexpensive rubber one might just do the trick...haha

Hmm... Might need to do that my speed3 and the 5. Good job!
It think it looks bad. I ordered one for my 2006 and it looked like s*** from a side point of view because there is an angle on the front bumper. Also the lip is much lower dans the sideskirt which is ugly too. Now it is in the garbage...(notcool)

its okay that you don't like it, but when you don't have lots of money to by a real lip it's the next best thing i could do when i don't have a lot of money at this time. But hey i think it looks good and if i mess it up i still have enough for one more(yes) thanks you guys for your criticism every opinion counts
JDM looks good no doubt, but HD is very practical and doesn't look bad.

I still agree....HD is practical and affordable...I've just spent an arm and a leg, now I gotta drive like I'm on eggshells...I guess you can't beat the look of a properly molded kit, but this isn't horrible if you don't know cars....some of my friends probably couldn't tell the difference between the Baysonr JS style lip and the HD...unless its true that the Baysonr lip fits like crap...which isn't too suprising since their eyebrows fit like crap....

I was just referring to the Baysonr JS lip that Menzo was talking about...sorry. The eyebrows I got from Baysonr didn't fit very well, might have just been the adhesive they sent, because they kept peeling off, I was just venting a little. But everything else from them was great. Simon was very helpful in getting what I wanted...except the headlights...haha...he tried tho...but now I'm glad I didn't do it...cuz we can just bake em...
As for your eyelids, just buy construction 3M tape. There is no way it will be peeling off ever again

I didn't like them much anyways...(beer) hey is it eyelids, eyebrows, mad dogs...or just headlight covers? I've been calling them eyebrows...(nervous) I hope that's ok....
