hey I got a quick question for you guys before I break somethin this weekend, probably a bone... But do you guys know the easiest way to remove the CV shaft from the tranny?
and since he's probably doing both... someone wanna fill us in on the trick for the driver's?

I know chances of you having one handy aren't great, but if someone put a pic of that up it would prb help a LOT of guys out.pry bar basically. if you yank on it with the hub attached your going to eventually damage the inner cv joint. just slide a medium pry bar or long screw driver in near the trans and pry it will eventually pop out. As for reinserting it the easiest way is to take wheel bearing grease or some other heavy grease and smear it in the open end of the axle clip, this will hold the open end against the splines. Insert the shaft and jab it in a couple time and it should lock into place no problem.

Oh, I was able get my production # plate mounted in the engine bay w/out effin anything up.
