H1 bulbs/LED bulbs??? help!

K guys,

Well just about all of my lights are out (front headlights, don't have fog) on my '05 Mazda 6. Can anyone suggest some descent quality/economically priced lights - looking for the white/blue colored ones. (me = big newb with anything that has to do w/ cars) Brand names and where to get them would be greatly appreciated. I have no idea on this stuff and don't have access to internet at home. I had to sneak this at work. Thanks in advance. <-wow that sounds sad. so... give a bro some luv?

sylvania silverstars are a good bulb.. can pick em up at any local auto parts store... if they both went out at the same time, I would have to assume its not the bulbs though... fuse? wiring? something else?

Be careful about silverstars. I had them in my Tacoma and they both burnt out rather quickly. A lot faster than normal bulbs...

Thanks for the replies. I looked at the Sylvania Silverstars and they seem to be the way to go. (Bang for buck wise without getting too pricey.) I read a couple of reviews on the board and it sounds like they burn out in less than a year so Ill be sure to keep my receipt of when I bought then and when I get them installed. Part II of this question is, technically, how many lights does the front have? The owners manual says 4 and visually I see 4 but do the parking lights actually run at night when Im driving or are they simply for parking? Maybe thats why I dont pick them up when Im driving. Btw, the only working lights now (that I can tell when driving) are the passenger low and both highs. Im just trying to decide what all needs to be replaced. Im thinking of just resetting the whole front so the light colors match and are new.

*Also, can anyone verify the order of lights (as if look at the car head on):
low /fog /hi /parking | parking/ hi/ fog/ low

I ordered Osram Silverstars from online. Osram is slyvania's euro company. I have had them for around 6 months so far and they are GREAT. Very bright and I can see WAY better than before. I got two bulbs for around $30. That's what I suggest. I have an 05 6 too.

My parking lights dont run as DRLs. They only come on when I turn them on. I dont have autolamps either, so that might be the difference if you have Autolamps. I PMd you about the Osrams. Search Amazon and E-bay, I looked at both to find the best price. Like I said, I paid around $30 with shipping for both bulbs. Maybe a little less.
