Bump i know this event is still far away but just wanted to let you know that it might get pushed back to September. With saturday being the only good day for this event its making it a lil pain to get a date set in stone, and i dont have the 50% of the cost to throw down for the down payment to reserve the day.

Hey Fellas,

Brand Spankin new MSP owner. Got a solid deal from one out in Houston TX, and then drove it all the way back to good old western PA. Looking to bounce a couple questions off some of you guys. Specifically if anyone knows much about the wiring of the H4s, let me know. I got a set of HIDs that are supposed to be plug-in-play, not working out so well though. Also, i have learned the unfortunate shortcomings of the MSP when it comes to the fuel cut. It would appear that the previous owner put in a JoeP MBC -- But it seems that aside from being damn near turned off, it hits fuel cut anytime past 3500-4000rpm --- Need some help in choosing the best/safest route around this. As well, any info on shops that will do work. I am actually out in Cranberry if anyone woudn't mind lending a hand.

If anyone feels the need to volunteer some Q&A time or point me in the right direction of where to get some info possibly on prior information, let me know. I have searched past posts, with minimal help. Maybe I will see some of you guys around the Pgh area.

does beaver run, check the car....
cause, if i roll up with like over 300hp i think ill need a roll cage......

but, again, im down as long as the car doesnt explode at the dyno.....(rlaugh)

you will be good, ill be around the same power. When the roll cages are needed are when you starting getting into a higher safety lvl of racing.

I was going to go to the autox on the 14th is the gymkana more fun? I never did it before do you get as much driving time, and are the courses as long?

i didnt know they where doing an AutoX the 14th, but i have no clue. This is going to be there first one so im not sure about the seat time and course length. Im sure that the seat time will pretty much be the same though, but thanks for the info about the 14th if my car is done and i have the motor broken in ill be going to that too.

april 15th is too close, and im taking the rest of the month to get back on my feet... 3mos without a job has drove me crazy....
if i can come up with some cash, ill try, but i doubt it.......

otherwise, maybe we shouldnt just do mazdas, and get a bunch of people, who just want to drive?

i tried that too, ppl say they want to but wont commit and the thing that makes it hard is that i need 50% of the cost to reserve the day. i cant put out that money so at the least i would need 15 people to pay me 45 bucks to get the day reserved for the event.

LOL My son is due on august 8 so I can't commit, and even on the 22nd my wife isn't going to let me go so soon after the birth she will probably need me around to help out

ill hit up a couple of my buddies, one has a 92 300zx, and the other is rockin a durango, and im sure, my friends in the A4 and chevy nova would be interested........hell maybe my pops will bust out the vette....
