I wanted to buy a fmic from ebay, im not to worried about if its going to fit because me and me friend will be putting it in. He put one in on his avenger and it fit perfect with some modifying. The reason i wanted to go with the one on ebay is because its $185 for the whole kit but going the other way would cost $800. I am willing to work harder if it going to save me that much money. Besides the intercooler he put in his avenger he modifyed and its been running strong for about 1year. I just wanted to know what everyone thinks.(attn)

there isn't an 'ebay' kit currently that has the correct pipe routing and bpv flange. there is only 1 source of intercooler piping. your resources are limited to this or custom. but i have had great experience with ebay cores.

Here is the picture.

ya i know it needs to be modifiyed, me and my friend will be doing the install, he has already done one on his avenger that he turbocharged and it took him about 4hrs to do the install, i am going to help him with this install if i get it, it shouldn't take that long to get done.

for sure, i was thinking about going this route as well but i decided to get an exhuast depot piping kit and ebay core. but if this works out well for you, then it will all be ebay

cool it should work fine, the only thing that i will have to get will be an adapter flange for my bov but you can get that off ebay or any tuning store around you.

ill def jump on the ebay band wagon if this works out well. im a DIY kinda person and im pretty good at it but i didnt want to buiy this and have to spend another 400 geting it right. let us know. im excited for a FMIC myself now. thanks!

Only problem I see is the amount of couplers you will be using. Whats the flow rate of the core? The flange is the least of your worries if your going to make this custom anyhow so leave that last. If you wanna try it out I say go for it . Only thing ur losing is 185 dollars if it doesnt work.

custom fmic

the flange should only be about $35-$45.

From personal expierience i dn think that ic will fit, looks to big(as in height).I bought my ic from cxracing.com i got the exact same size as the cobb or cp-e cant remember bought it a while ago.Thats just my 2cents.BTW ic looks great lil bit of time n effort but i saved alot of $.PM me if you need ne help

its this cheap because you have to put the time to make it work, the other fmic are more expensive because someone else did the work for you. some guys in the tuning shops around where i live have custom made the fmic, and sd that the people who buy them for $895 are very happy with them, they also sd that the kits they made are making more hp then some of those name brands out their. Not to say those kit aren't great but you can have the same results if you take your time in doing the build and pay alot less money, anything can be customized with time.

Medieval is working on a direct fit FMIC kit for the MS3 right now and the cost will be $550. It includes all black powdercoated piping.
