Bright foglights?

What HID or other type of fogs would go well with the stock HIDs on the MS3 GT? It seems that everyone is going with the yellow or amber look and I want to go another route and make them bright like the low beams. Anyone have any tips on how to make that work?

i have a 55w DDM kit from dabears 2k. i got them in 5000k temp and they are actually brighter than the stock low beams....(boom04) i will however say im having trouble with one of the ballasts that when i hit bumps the light goes out. im going to email them today about that. Other than that i love the kit. plug and play install realllllly bright. dabears2k.com

the reason people go with those colors for fogs is because those colors disperse light in fog. any other colors wont help and would be pointless. They will add a nice look to the car but wont do its job

on another note, i have the 35watt DDM kit in 3000k, and mine don't seem to look yellow when you look at them, they shine as white/blue, but on the ground they are yellow as hell.

It really depends on the wattage for a non HID setup. I you run anything higher than a 65w bulb in the fog housing, you run the risk of melting the housing up. I'm running yellow bulbs because it washes out color and helps with foggy driving conditions.

You could run that bulb and take the little glare shield out of it, but then people might flash you all the time.(bang)

If you don't want to mess with HID's, the Hoen Xenon Match bulbs are great.
They almost perfectly match the low beams, and output is decent. Plus, they are just plug and play - so install is a snap (I didn't want to mess with ballasts, etc.).

I think I'll go with these. Looks pretty promising.
How's the install? What has to be done?

Just have to remove the plastic shield, you can then reach in and remove the OEM bulbs from the housing and install the new. There is a how-to somewhere......very simple. For the MS3, order the 9006 bulbs from Hoen.
