i wish i had the money for that kind of LENS. thats a $1200 lens he is shooting with folks (boom08). beautiful pictures, beautiful car, and super urban district???

Can someone clue me in on how to properly take a pic of a car?
My Dad just got a Canon 40D and my pics still look like fecal matter....
Just get out there and practice. I've been shooting for years and still don't think I'm all that. A nice lens helps, but it's not necessary. Hop around the net and read as much as you can about composition, times to shoot, etc. Here are a few different places to start. If you have any specific questions, shoot me a PM.
