I finally got my Darkstar Motorsport turbo inlet pipe yestersday!! I will be putting it on on Thursday and will post pics along with my SU TMIC and boost tubes.(breakn)

Glad you finally got yours. If you haven't read. The install is a PAIN so make sure you leave yourself time to do it. You'll like it it's a great mod!

from what i gathered you pull the batter box...uninstall the stock, and install the new one. i cant see it being that bad. i have to tighten my stock 1 all the time and its not hard to move it in and out and tighten. idk though because i havent tried the inlet install yet. btw make sure your putting on like a t-clamp or soemthing on that inlet pipe so you dont have to worry about iot coming loose. thats my #1 p2187 cel problem. actually....my only problem. when i get that cel...i check my inlet. stupid thing.

I don't think you have gathered enough then.....
Every write-up out there says what a PITA they r to get the stock off, and then to get the new one onto the turbo side, but good luck to you sir.

I had no problems installing my turbo inlet, it was acually pretty easy. The only hard part I had was getting the hose off the solenoid valve as it was stuck on good and the nipple on the solenoid valve breaks off easily

mine should be coming in today so I can let you guys know how hard it is or not. I don't think it should be that bad after the battery is off.

thats the only problem i heard. just be careful and it should be a snap. i dont see the big deal. people make it out like its putting in a down pipe or something.

I can't wait to see the pics. I recently installed the SU TMIC. I now wish I had ordered the Boost Tubes. The stockers are ok for now.
Good luck.

haha, I just did my txs downpipe install sunday, after doing that, this has GOT to be a breeze. The downpipe install was a pain in the dick!

why would you have to tighten your stock inlet all the time? thats very strange. a p2187 code could also be an improperly installed or problematic bov/bpv.

Becks I'm similar dimensions and I think there is still a cloud of profanity hanging over my house from when I did mine.
