My bone stock 09 ms3 with 5,000 miles has developed a rattle that goes away when the clutch pedal is depressed. What could this be, and is it possibly normal?

Do you still hear the noise when you depress the clutch pedal slightly (10%~20%)?
09 can you do me a favor? listen to were the marble comes from, i mean actually listen, lift the hood, let the car idle and search around. I came to find the sound is coming nowere near the transmission, but from the passenger side of the motor. if you could do this this would be a big help for me, after reading some other posts i think it might actually be might tensioner pully or the belt
you may ask why id even this this due to it going away when the clutch is let out, but mine DOES NOT go away, and occurs spiratically all the time. if someone else can varify theres is coming from the tranny, or agree with me its on the passenger side or wherever they find, ill do more research and call up my tech.

exactly same problem as mine. Doesn't go away even if clutch is depressed. I heard it is tensioner or something. Was too lazy to go to dealer. Going to go tomorrow and let you know (cool)
