ive got 235 bfg kdw's (fire pattern) on right now but im spinnin' through first and second and they are pretty new tires.. Any recommendations on how to stop it,suspension wise, tire wise, both... i hate punchin it through first and second because its a spinning match and its just wasting rubber.

Yea there nothing u can really do about that because u have a front wheel drive car that has alot of torque. You can get some traction bars that should help, but you will still spin them in first gear.

A lesson in throttle control? (dunno)

You could go with stickier tires...the KDWs aren't exactly the stickiest.

Suspension wise, it'd help to stiffen things up a little bit (less weight transfer to the rear always helps), but really with a FWD car carrying around as much power as the MS3 has it's going to necessitate exercising some right foot restraint. ;)

Stiffer suspension all around can keep the front end from lifting. Generally the rear will be stiffer to prevent weight transfer from the front under acceleration. You can do some motor mount work to help address wheel hop if it's an issue. Other than that and wider stickier tires, there's not too much you can do.

yeah i've got throttle control down.. i can drive this car fine to maximize going straight instead of spinning... so a set of springs will help a little? Looking into probably a set of Eibach's then, because i dont want a lot of drop since there are helacious dips and rises where i live. Just the nature of the beast i suppose. I am definitely not wining just saying if i can stop or lessen it how would one go abouts doing it.

Are all your mods listed in your sig? If so wheel hop and spinning would be reduced if you upgraded your rear motor mount. I have the eibach pro kit and a trz poly mm and it has helped reduce spin and hop quite a bit but i dont get on it too hard in 1st.

only those mods....it shouldnt be bad with only couple mods I understand fully bolted guys .... they dont have grip at all just get stickier tires like falken azenis or something like that also if you get springs it will help

Indeed, a stiffer rear transaxle mount is a must with this car, IMHO.

I've merely installed the CS inserts into the stock mount, and it has made a substantial improvemet improvement in driveline feel. That new"ish" CPE rear mount looks like it'd be really nice. I might upgrade to that one in the near future.

yeah all i have is an intake and bov... i will look into springs and a motor mount for sure.. recommendations on a motor mount? i have heard that some out there are iffy

KDW's have been the stickiest wet/dry I've had next to dr's. I was planning for azenis 615's next. What have you used that are better?

Here's a quick list from least sticky to stickiest, all of which are probably stickier than KDWs:

Hankook Z212 R-S2s
Falken Azenis RT-615
Kumho Ecsta XS
Dunlop Direzza Z1 Star Spec <-- (haven't owned a set myself, but can confidently recommend them based on the opinions of those I respect that have used them)

Sorry to break it to you but the only mod that's going to be the most effective at taming wheelspin on the MS3 is the driver mod.
