Just picked up a 2008 leftover True Red Mazdaspeed3 GT. Great deal on price and my trade in so here I am! I've been looking for one of these for a while, and I have to say it was definitely worth the purchase!

Good thing snow season is almost over. I took the speed out for a quick trip in a coating of snow today just to see how bad those Bridgestones are...and I barely made it up my street. Snow tires for next year, but just have to sit it out for the next couple weeks.

Can't wait to start learning more about this car! (2thumbs)

Yeah, dunno what he's smoking. The only colors dropped for '09 in the U.S. are Cosmic Blue and Sunlight Silver.

Welcome! I remember when everyone had a thropping hard on for White back in the day because it wasn't available in N/A for a while. Same thing happens about the sissy blue color they have in Europe. People always want what they can't have. Human nature I guess..

So now at 1050 miles, she's all broken in. I came from a 2002 Volvo S60 T5 5-spd. It was no slouch with 247 hp and 243 lbs-ft of torque. I have to say, this Mazdaspeed would not only beat that car, but destroy it. It's so much fun on corners and having power in basically any gear once you reach 3k rpm. Surprisingly, this car handles the bumps just as good, if not better, than the Volvo, and it is quite comfortable on long trips. The only thing I miss is the moonroof and the Volvo did have an amazing stereo...but other than that, happy with the purchase!!!! (The exhaust note is rather addicting too...)
