How common are MSP gold emblems

It just dawned on me I've never seen another MSP with gold Mazdaspeed trunk and engine cover badges. Anyone else's car come with these. I even asked the dealer and they could not find a part number.

I only ever saw gold ones once, but the guy made them that way, they never came gold as far as i know of.

These came with the car when we got it at 19k miles. I emailed the previous owner and he said that's how the dealer sold it to him. They look OEM.

oh lol those arent cold, the clear seal on the emblems is old and dried out....its actually yellow. You need new emblems.

My dealer replaced mine as they did the same after about the first 20k miles.

I wish I had a better camera. They're not old or faded. They've been gold since day one. I bought the car 11 months after after the 1st owner got it and they were just as gold then.

I'm telling you whats wrong with them. Mine looked the exact same way. they need to be replaced, they shouldnt look like that.

Agree with everyone else here.. dude, they didn't come GOLD.. that's the result of someone coloring them that way, or the fact that they're old and you need new ones, the layer on the emblem itself may have discolored yellow, or someone could have sprayed them or glossed them with that color. If they were truly gold, they would be gold underneath with a clear coat on the top of the emblem and not on the entire thing.. but since they didn't come that way..

It IS under the clear coat. I've seen the silver ones and these are made just the same way. And AGAIN, they've been gold since day one.

I'm going to charge the batteries for my wife's camera. It's a 10 megapixel compared to the 6 megapixel I used to take these pics. Hopefully it helps.

lol then just leave them, I dont care (dunno)

You remind me of this guy I work with. Just because he's never seen something before that means it can't exist. Lol.(fight)

no, i see what you posted and I'm telling you mine looked exactly like that after a very short time of owning the car...

evil monkey is right...they are old

the badge shouldn't be distorted like that either

even if they aren't then someone painted them, like the first owner (you didn't own the car for the first 11 months you say, obviously they could have done that)

there are no gold emblems like that, trust me

is the rear badge flacking off? or is that just dirt or something on it..

looks like they are old and discoloured but id be interested in seeing them cleaned up with a better camera

it almost looks like some kind of acid got on it.....it's supposed to be smooth and clear, that's obviously wearing down
