It did say the 2.3L so I dont know how much more they are going to pump out of that unless they do a different turbo setup, the dual exhaust wont add much.

And it will be a huge rice mod because R&D went into the front grille to make it very functional. Likely an aftermarket grille will decrease performance even though it may look good.

The New Golf R will also be AWD and be in the EVO/STI price range if not a bit more therefore putting it in a different class. It's basically going to be a more powerfull R32, think about it..

I highly doubt the new MS3 will have 300hp and more TQ. It's still FWD and power was never an issue to begin with. If anything performance wise needed some attention it would be the suspension albeit slightly.

Hmmm I didn't realize the golf R was going to be awd, i thought VW was having problems because of the weight of the awd system in the current R and it wasn't a much better performer than the standard GTI. Oh well. Back to the MS3...

Well, looks like 2010 MS3's front doesn't look any better then 2010 Mazda3's front. I dunno what they were thinking, it's like taking a Cute girl and letting Joker at her with his razor.

Well, at least that means I don't have to wait, I'll be getting 09 version this month prolly.

When this does go on sale and the people join this forum and they love their cars and they think they look good. (I think it looks good.) Are you guys going to keep talking about how bad the '10 3's look? The P5 and Speed P owners on here don't talk about the 3's and Speed 3's.

I wonder, since it is using the same engine, at least in rumor, think they beefed up the mounts?

Redesigning the entire car is unlikely so the frame rails would likely be the same. Might be able to swap those out to the sub 2010 models if they have been beefed up.

The biggest annoyance was when they changed 6club around to fit the 2nd gen stuff! Hope that doesnt happen here! 2nd gen go somewhere else!! (blowup)
