Get black and the smile won't be as noticeable imo. I don't think the power output will be the same as the current model especially since the new Golf R will have 270hp. Look for the speed to have closer to 300 and a bit up on torque, and I pray for the revoknuckle...

When this does go on sale and the people join this forum and they love their cars and they think they look good. (I think it looks good.) Are you guys going to keep talking about how bad the '10 3's look? The P5 and Speed P owners on here don't talk about the 3's and Speed 3's.

The blue hatch in that link appears to have a turbo diesel (guessing on the diesel) motor in it. Take a look at the maze of piping for the intake and intercooler down in front of the driver side wheel.

I will welcome them to the forums, like everyone else. Although I cant help but think that when they ask what's the first mod they should do to their car. They're going to get a lot of replies for New Front End followed by the usual bpv, cai etc !!!!

now that the bra is off (spy shots) lol unfortunately the front end is yet to grow on me, just cant accept the "smiling" grill, (puke)

nope, b/c their cars will be like redheaded step children. we know they are ugly but accept them at arms length.
i will have gotten all of my "ragging" on the 2010 MS3 out of my system by then so no beef from me telling me their car is ugly.
they are apart of the botherhood/sisterhood and fully welcomed
the sucky thing is that if an aftermarket front end like the concept MS6 is made, i will prolly be pissed b/c the car will look really good with that front end

The New Golf R will also be AWD and be in the EVO/STI price range if not a bit more therefore putting it in a different class. It's basically going to be a more powerfull R32, think about it..
I highly doubt the new MS3 will have 300hp and more TQ. It's still FWD and power was never an issue to begin with. If anything performance wise needed some attention it would be the suspension albeit slightly.

lol just noticed this too, basically my conclusion is the overall design is horrible!!! Must see the new engine specs to make up for it (argh) (boom07)
And it will be a huge rice mod because R&D went into the front grille to make it very functional. Likely an aftermarket grille will decrease performance even though it may look good.

Driver side front bumper (end of the grin) looks like a small MPS emblem. nice little touch. I just want to see this thing in person. Cant wait to see the numbers so bad.
