ALL 2010 Mazda3 Stuff Goes Here

why is it gotta be a mexican dinner turd? How come it can't be an australian or european, or asian, or canadian turd?

i guess it could be like....mall asian food turd. those get pretty messy as well. i dont eat much canadian quisine although i cant speak for all. hahahahahaha.

Wow I like that Focus a lot more than the Mazda. If they toned it down a little bit it would be perfect. The interior is perfect too. I think the new 3 hatch looks like a Toyota Matrix that is really happy because it's not really a Toyota Matrix. Now that Ford doesn't own much of Mazda I hope they start to bring cool cars like that here. That is, of course, as long as they don't stick fake chrome and fake vents all over it.

that is the ugliest thing i have ever seen. I am embarrassed that i have a mazda logo on my car now. Dammit. I cannot imagine seeing that thing on the street and its gonna read mazda3....people are gonna be like hey, dont you have the 3 (MS3), ill be like shiit yeah... and they'll laugh. DAMMMIITTT

im thinking they might hold a year for the next speed3... if thats a test mule, look at the tape covering the rear logos... ours doesnt even have one on the right side, so it looks to me like it says mazda3 mps or mazda axela mps, which means thats not a north american car at all. this is different anyway.. first time the speed edition of a mazda has gone through 2 generations. kinda cool though, i guess... makes me feel cool for having a "first gen" speed3 :)

Remember the camo is there to fool you after all. Just because there's a scoop in the camo doesn't mean there's a scoop in the hood. Look at that big slit above the plate... perfect for letting air in just like the current model does.

There is a scoop in the hood and the big opening below the hood. The front end is different than the reg 2010 Mazda 3, maybe they are testing an FMIC, also. The camo is there to hides the body contours.

What do I think of the new front fascia of the new mazda3 and possibly the new MS3?

(thumb) I would like to personally thank the designers for such a happy look on a car because it means MY current MS3 still looks better. You see, newer model cars tend to look better than the outgoing model, which usually makes me want to trade in my car for that new look. However, in this case the outgoing model looks WAY better in my humble opinion. Thanks MAZDA!(wiggle)

I agree 100%. Having just bought my MS3 I was worried I'd like the new one better but nope...don't like the new "happy face" one bit. I'll wait to see if they do bring out a new MS3 and if I'll trade for one eventually but not if it's fugly.

On a side note, I owned a 2002 Protege5 when they introduced the 3...at the time I really like the three...(little info on my personal likes)

2010 Mazdaspeed3 to debut at Geneva

Mazda Motor Corporation will debut two new models of the all-new Mazda3 (known as Mazda Axela in Japan) product range at the 2009 Geneva International Motor Show from March 3 through 15, 2009. The world premiere of the Mazda3 with i-stop, Mazdas advanced fuel-saving start-stop system, will be shared with the all-new Mazda3 MPS, Mazda3s high performance flagship model. The Mazda3 MPS (Mazdaspeed Axela, Mazdaspeed3) now features improved fuel economy and emissions that satisfy Euro Stage 5.

Mazda3 i-stop
The Mazda3 is one of Mazdas core products, with more than two million units of the first generation produced. The design of the new model has a bolder and more dynamic stance; it is agile and confidence-inspiring, enhancing the sense of oneness between the driver and car. It also has high environmental and safety performance levels, exemplifying Mazdas Sustainable Zoom-Zoom long-term vision to provide cars that are eco-friendly and safe while still being fun to drive.

The Mazda3 with i-stop embodies Sustainable Zoom-Zoom and adds a new eco-friendly option to the lineup. It features the i-stop system in combination with the MZR 2.0 DISI (Direct Injection Spark Ignition) engine. Together, these two Mazda proprietary technologies help the new model achieve approximately 12 percent lower fuel consumption (urban cycle) than the current European Mazda3. By providing great driving performance as well as top-class fuel economy, the Mazda3 with i-stop is a different type of eco-car that will exceed customer expectations.

Mazda3 MPS
The Mazda3 MPS sport compact pushes Mazda design further and its exciting driving performance perfectly represents Mazdas Zoom-Zoom spirit. Carrying forward the MZR 2.3 DISI Turbo engine, Mazda3 MPS builds on the popularity and recognition of the previous model. It evolves the driving experience to an entirely new level of quality and pleasure with its emotional design and exhilarating performance.

The all-new Mazda3 Program Manager, Yoshiyuki Maeda, says, These two models add extra value to an all-new Mazda3 lineup that has already shown strong appeal. The new Mazda3 series takes a significant step ahead in both the realms of driving performance and environmental technology to lead the way toward a new generation of motoring.

thanks for the great reading and info....but boy did they **** that car up. I really like the back...but the front...can someone say cheeeeseeeeeeeee!

Well they put on some decent rims, which is nice. They put dual exhaust on, which is really dumb. I kinda like the hood scoop. The smile is......silly at best. I'm interested to see what the tires are (width), and performance stats. I'd drive a dog if it runs like a greyhound.
