How would I get that heat shield off my header to check for leaks?
I'm pretty sure the passenger's side is leaking pressure or has a bad head gasket but I need the heat shield off to check it.

aside from the actual header itself, there are i think just two bolts holding on the shield. once the thing i cooled off, take a good lack back there and see. there should be one on each side

Awesome! I dunno if you say my engine ticking thread but it seems like my header is leaking and if I can get that stupid heatshield off then I can start it up and actually check for something! (cabpatch)
