DAMN! I love those Harley-Davidson models...but the supercharged ones in the gray with the purple flames...hot.

How's this for haulin' and towin'?
'05 Eddie Bauer Expedition, 5.4L V8, 300HP 365 TQ, 10,000lbs towing capacity.
I love it...when I gun it.

I would've done a comparison in size shot but the Mazda was in the shop...hence the empty garage.

I thought the harley editions where just an F150 with an appearance package...

02 5.4L SC'ed pushing 12.5lbs.
Had the stripes removed when they took it off the show room floor.


When I get bored with the truck out comes the 92 Novi Sc'd GT.

4.6l supercharged, 390hp & 390ft-lb tq stock. those numbers were underrated for most though, seeing stock could put down almost 390 to the wheels.

dude...i know how you feel! my first car was a hand-me-down 94 jeep grand cherokee. after that i got a 99 miata, silver with the hard top. that car was soooo much fun even with it's little 140hp dinky engine. after that i never wanted to go back to a truck or suv. and im 6'2''

I'm gonna be the one who says it since I'm betting nobody else will...I would rather have a Gen II Lightning over an MS3. I'm about to get flamed over this but I love Lightnings and have forever. I was literally crushed when Ford stopped making them and never came out with a replacement.

IMO: Lightning > Mazadspeed3 and I would take a 2004 Lightning over an MS3 anyday.

I find it funny how they just realize after its been out for 3 years that it actually exists. I guess that's what we get for driving things with 2 4 bangers under the hood.

Yeah they're fast but I would perfer a well balanced vehicle that can do it all decently (MS3). However, if I went to the drag strip all the time my motives would change I guess..

As Much as i'd love to have a hooked up truck (Like an old Chevy cylone... 4.3L v6 w/ turbo... YUM) I'd much rather have a fast car. Less chance of rolling over and more fun when u go someone besides straight ahead.

300hp is fast in a relatively light car but in a heavy truck not so much. I'm pretty sure that 365 TQ is tuned for towing and not so much for "haulin" as you put it. Nice truck though! I would def rock it for a work truck.

and the cobra will still get 20+ highway

Will it really, I thought they were a definite high 13.xx truck.... Anyhow lightnings and cobra's are both vehicles I wouldn't mind driving; if you could find an un-rapped one!! BTW Lightnings go for between $15k-$20k now so it's not out of range for those of us on this particular forum.

yea decent cobra is around 22-27, but have seen as low as 19.......

most will have the basic mods: pulley, tires, tune. and that = more ass kicking. i mean someone please tell me how this car isnt sex

then i guess you haven't drivin a mustang......

any car can be made to go around corners/straight/drift/ etc.., its all in how much you wanna spend. my ex boss has a 03 mustang GT vortech supercharged on 17 pounds putting down close to 500 on the pavement, with a suspension that will take a 90 degree turn at 60+ no problem, and i know because i almost s*** myself lol, but it stuck to the ground like it was made to do so.

one of the best drifters in the world drives a sn197 stang, and you dont get anymore in control then when it comes to drifting. you can argue all you want, but the skill it would take to slide a corner with someone on your ass while holding 70+ is unthinkable to me.

and yes im an american guy at heart, but im into street cars also, and remember if you drive a MS3 u drive 1/2 Ford product anyway, so why down something that has potential and is in the fam.
