What have you done to your MSP today?

oh if i do it there will be pics, many pics.

I dont care about resale cause im drivin the b**** into the dirt. Incase anyones wondering.

lots of pics FTMFW haha i agree with you though im running mine tell it has no chance of ever running again haha i dont want anyone to have my car

Honestly, I would never paint my MSP anything but the stock color. However, MSP2024 knows the truth. We (at least I) are a very calm people. I personally love the flat black color, and especially the pic you've posted of the color you want. However, IMO I would get it all done, engine bay and everything. Just guessing but I am going to say that you'll paint the entire car like you've described. Then, when someone wants to see what's under the hood, you'll get that gut wrenching feeling like "Damn this guy is going to think I am a ricer." You don't want that. I'd save up for the entire job if I were you bro.

Of course, this coming from the guy who wants to send his MSP back to Japan and tell those bitches to make it like it came from the factory (but with the KLZE-Turbo swap instead of the crappy FS-DET).

My final word... the only color I think you'd be doing a disservice to, is the Spicy Orange. All the other colors are pretty standard Mazda colors that could easily be put back.

i would not do it to the spicy that is just to good looking and original as hell haha,,,,, good news guys i get to pick up my car in a hour

I agree that it sucks to cover up the spicy orange, but if you prefer the flat black and it looks good or even better, then why not?

after a few minutes of messing around
I actually like it a lot!

Well its not a money thing for the engine bay, I just didnt want to remove all that stuff just to paint it. I plan on forging the motor relatively soon so i was going to wait till then as it would be an opportune time. Removing all that stuff in the engine bay is a mounumental task. plus i could paint the valve cover, and other stuff in there at the same time.

Im really the only person who looks under my hood, i live in the middle of nowhere but i do see your point and its well taken.

it's a little darker than the rx8 you showed, but it's an idea haha
you'd need darker rims though to pull it off

True. I love my spicy, and wouldn't cover it up......especially now that someone else is planning the flat black. LMAO. Its probably the only color I would cover it up with. Oh, and good to hear you're getting the car back! I'm sure it was driving you nuts without it.
Those pics with the flat black look badass by the way.....(2thumbs)
