Stop being an ass. You didn't post a link and if you are meaning
http://protege5.ugly.net/ it doesn't work.
why do I need to post a link? it's always there with my sigs
it's not my fault you people can't or don't want to read
fuel filter information is clearly in the faq
if I wanted to be a real asshole, I could've said nothing or simply say "stfu and read the faq" like I've done back in the old days
You wouldn't know unless you saw him post. They are not posted in a FAQ thread on this site.
I can't help it if you're a n00b
I'm one of the few old school guys still around and I'm known as either both the biggest asshole or the saint... depends on how I rubbed on people... I don't bulls*** around nor do I take bulls***... and I plain do not care what people think of me... I have made plenty of mazda friends myself by just the way I am and I have gained much knowledge from them as they have from me... I never claimed to know everything, although many attempted to pin me as that way
the "faq" on this site were attempts of others to make something better than what mine is, which has been far longer established than anything protege related out there... I have nothing against people trying to make their own and make it better... that's what makes this a free country... but to deny or ignore the existence of the established one is only denying benefit to the whole community... there is always an open invitation of "link
not copy" written clearly on my site, but the powers that be here chose not to do so... it doesn't hurt my feelings that hasn't been done, nor do I lose sleep people not getting good information because its not widely promoted by members on this site
call my faq, ugly, old, hard to read, outdated... I know and I don't really care... I maintain it on my own time and on money and making major changes such as a redesign is very hard to do when it is megs and megs of text... information is slow to get on there either because I don't have time or because it hasn't been verified/proven... I take a very conservative approach, which is why it has been successful because of ACCURACY... I admit there are mistakes here and there, and they have been corrected... if I just add s*** in there before making sure it is good information, it would be more work for me, and lots of people wasted money (and time, and a lot of pissed off people)... the faq is never meant to replace the forums but merely supplement it... the forums is where the "blazing new" is... people try/do s*** on here and fail many times... but the few who are successful sometimes have their information added to the faq when warranted... I tend not to add overly complicated or advanced information other than touching the basics or obscure information... the rest is for the reader to figure it out on the forums
so NEVER be shy to contribute or correct what is in it... the community only benefits because there are changes done to it!
