Man, that is tempting. I looked and they have MP3 rims as well for a nice price.

For some reason I thought these were 8" wide like the RX-8 wheels. At least you were able to get some meaty tires on those 18's.

He was answering my question in regards to getting that size tire to fit w/o rubbing issues, ie: spacers, fender rolling.

I think the only downside to going this route is that the wheels must be heavy.

i can't speak for MS6, but, the RX8 wheels weigh in at 47lbs with worn out tires

Yea i dont know how much they weight but they were kinda heavy when i put them on. id say maybe around 40 ish. Does anyone know where we can get the specs for the weight?

I guess you are talking about my car? Thanks for the comments and those black wheels are actually 14" steelies with snow tires mounted. My summer wheels (2006 MX-5 stockers) are in my avatar.

Ok after driving it for a few days ive noticed that its starting to rub....on the plastic fender liner. (minor damage) but nothing to the wheel well or the fender.
