loud exhaust?

yeah i'll do a how-to..

jack up your car, all 4 poitns with 4 jack stands. get under there, unbolt the exhaust from the downpipe back. take it out. lower the car back down, go get it tuned.

TBE, loudest i hear is the turboxs, or CPE with no muffler or resonator....

but loudest exhaust. open downpipe.

and your girlfriend won't like how loud it is.

Also all that heat being vented right at the DP cant help things.

I wouldnt really want the loudest exhaust, dont want to be attracting the (five-0)
 
The loudest exhaust you could get is probably, a custom 3" piping exhaust from the turbo waaaaaaaaaaaay back
 
i like to get a new or used exhaust for my MS3. BUT, im looking for loud!! any opinions?
I have cp-e race full turbo back and thats pretty loud can be raspy at time other wise the exhaust sound pretty bad ass because you can hear the turbo threw exhaust it sounds pretty sexy(hump)(hump)(hump)

I had unbolted my stock catback for a week and I noticed a burning smell after flooring it. it burnt the hell out of the shiny aluminum looking shield over the exhaust lol.

on a side note, is it possible to run open downpipe for a short period of time without hurting anything, other than your dignity? it sounds burly and I love the turbo whistle but I don't want a CEL or the car to **** up.
 
GHL and turboxs are the loudest CBEs i believe... custom straight pipe would probably be loudest though.

If you want loudness for least money, get your 2 resonators and muffler cut out of your stock exhaust.

Of course you can just run open downpipe too, but that vibrates and shakes the car pretty bad at WOT
 
Im with everyone else the turbo xs is the best one out there and its great once you put there dp and rp on with it

i'd have to listen to other vids, but i'm not sure about it from the vid you linked up. seemed a bit rough to me.

i did a full 3" turboback on my old car and found that, initially, the rumble at idle and roar at WOT were awesome, BUT the excessive NVH wore me out as time went along. just a word to the wise - if you want to invest in an exhaust upgrade, go with a proven unit that avoids NVH unless the car isn't your DD.
 
I have the Turbo Xs TBE. All I can say is LOUD! No cats straight 3 inch pipe with two resonators and a tip. You can really hear the turbo spool. Had some problems with the flanges, warped I think. Small leak at two points. But I live 25 min from Turbo Xs, and they hooked me up with new pipes. A few more things I would like to add. When you take off and get wheel spin, the exhaust has one less hanger. So in turn you will hear it bang around a little grrrrrrr. At stop lights, you will get the "turbo smoke" if you sit at idle. But I just hold the r.p.m. around 1500 and no problem just loud. Oh and watch out for the O2 sensor on the downpipe, the dealer stripped the threads and I had to buy a new one. Hope this helps!!

not to sound like an ASS, but so what? two threads? big deal!! where is the harm? did i "bog" the sever down? is the server running slower because of it?i got more replies on the second one. didnt know you couldn't ask the same question more then once over a period of time. and whats this = fail s***? its a forum!! very happy someone is keeping tabs on my post. makes me feel so special!!
 
why dont you just bump your original thread? and come on bro, lambo doors and a smic on a ms3 is fail
