Car Won't Start After Screwing With Radio

So, i have an 07 speed6 and i recently added an ipod integration to it. well i went back into my stereo to add an RCA cable and now the car won't start. The lights turn on but i am getting a weird clicking noise from the engine compartment. not one or two clicks but a clicking like something is spinning and hitting something else. (i know what a starter sounds like and this ain't it)

could i have tripped an anti theft? i looked at some of the fuses and they were all fine and i unhooked the battery and rehooked it but still problems.

the lights work inside and the gauges are getting all screwy when i try to start it.

help!!!!

nevermind needed to be jumped. now new prob speedo, griver controls of windows and gas gauge not working can't determine which fuse is blown if any

the owner manual sucks!

ok. fixed the windows using the hold down hold up method still no speedo and no gas gauge checked all the fuses on driver side and under hood anyone know which fuse that would be? BCM?

in my protege the wiring for the radio shorted out my gauge cluster. the power from the radio got put to the power from the guages (to dim the radio). the whole unit needed replaced.
