2008 Red MS3
Hmm, where to start? well i can honestly say this group has been one of the more down to earth and mature car groups i've been around and majority of the ms3 owners i've met were really cool guys to deal and hang out with but its time for me to move on(again). For quick reference i've owned A LOT of cars and growing up in the caribbean is a Japanese turbo heads dream. so here is a quick reference: galant vr4, sr20 nissan sunny,Gtir pulsar, rb25 r33 skyline, gtr skyline,,91 GMC syclone(still have it), 2000 evolution 6TME(my baby!) after i moved to the states: 1989 thunderbird sc, 1991 sc, 1991 cougar sc, 1991 procharged mustang(POS), 89 firebird , 2003 srt-4, 1989 conquest tsi, 1991 built gt35r talon awd, 1992 talon awd, mk3 supra......oh yea, im only 26 and i think i might have missed a few. So i dont think there isnt a car group i havent been apart of but you guys are by far the coolest! The MS3 is my shortest lived endeavor, its an amazing car package for the price but compared to what im use to it wasnt for me. For years i've had a fun and capable daily driver and with the lack of after market support, i take that back....3 years and no tuning and fuel solution killed it for me. While i had my ms3 i've been working on a 2jzgte lexus sc400 that just got done, its basically bone stock excluding the fmic and that thing blew the doors off my modded ms3 with 14psi of boost in a 3600lb+ car... so i've since sold my ms3, picked up a bmw 330i and im calling it quits! I've owned enough cars and i think i'll stop with my wacky creation. I had really high expectations for the ms3, i've had lots of friends with turbo mazda's...323, rx-7, cosmos(jamaica) but i cant say i was happy with the performance end of the ms3 but I was overly comfortable with the interior, gas mileage!, the low noise, the handling and general stock package. I'll be around trolling but like i do with a ton of other car forums and hope to see the ms3 making big numbers sometime next year. Who know's, im already intrigued by the styling of the 2010 ms3 but will be hesitent to make that leap again. So, farewell fellas and safe boosting.

Are you actually Jamaican? I can certainly agree though, the Carribean is a turbo heads dream come true, Pulsars, Sunnys, overly boosted Diesel Toyota HiAce mini vans (lol) I spent many a summer down in JA with family and my cousins evolutions are top notch. However sorry you are leaving the speed family, best of luck with your next venture. Just a quick question but how much did u sell your speed for by chance? I am also considering selling my speed3.

yea, im a born and raised jamaican. my people's were one of the first dealers to start the import process of the japs to jamaica. So everything that touched our lot, all i had to do was ask grandad for the keys and a plate for the weekend. I wish it was something everyone could experience..LOL, if you go to jamaica and rent a car there is a 90% chance it has turbo and 4wd.....NO JOKE! but for my 17th birthday, my suprise was a evolution 6 TME fully modified from japan title in my name. I've owned alot of cars but that one is where all my joys of driving lay. To this day dont kno what the turbo was but it was frigging huge, some 4 inch japanese named exhaust, blitz TT, blitz boost controller, blitzh fuel controller, blitz blow of valve, cast exhaust mani and other goodies here and there.....That biotched MOVED!!!

but the speed was sold for 18k, i took a loss just to get rid of it. so yea, i lost money but it wasnt worth keeping.

Daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawg I knew you had an accent when we met at Checkers.

Good luck with the new ride ;)

Man there are more than a few yardies that drive speeds!!! LOL! It is so true that Jamaica has loads of high profile turbo cars that will never set rubber here in the states.

That motor stock is between 290-320hp (in the old Japans underrated numbers) in a car that weighs only around 500 lbs more and you're surprised? How many cars have you had again.

You may have driven them, doubt you owned them. Good luck.

the gvr4 was mine, evo 6 was mine and i still have my syclone on jackstands. the skyline, pulsar and sunny belonged to my grandad and mom and uncle and we all lived in the same house. Uncle and grandad perfesionally raced and their cars were fully tuned and modded.

Quick funny story. My uncle wrecked the pulsar going down a drag strip one sunday, he blew the tranny and the tranfer case lock the back wheels and sent him into a wall. Negating the loss of the car, my uncle was ok and we salvaged the motor from the pulsar and put it into my moms nissan sunny with a sr20de. so we made it a gtir sunny.....that biotch was scary fast. it weighed maybe 2400lbs, maybe. It ended up being faster than the pulsar ever was. People use to be scared to ride in that car much less drive it.

Ah enough of my stories.

but my lexus is super heavy, its fully loaded with everyting option but ur right, because the mkiv supra and aristos are pigs themselves.
