it helps keep the motor from shifting back and forth.

But i shot a rod threw the block last week so im down for a some time, but i got my short block ordered on friday and that will be getting built in my living room, i also ordered BC coilovers w/ the extension lines for the rear, a new timing belt, and the updated welded LSD. Can not wait to get back and running.

rear reinforcement panel
rear v brace
front lower tie bar
trailing arm braces


also installed awr endlinks in the rear.

battery light turns on once and a while and yesterday the battery died on me on the road and left me stranded.... bad alternator?

usually. if the lights on, the alts not putting out enough. auto stores will test them for free.

thanks guys just went there... said my alternators not giving out enough voltage and not charging the battery correctly. New one is $170 from them. Any other options?

You could try some other shops for a reman, but there's a lot of copper in alternators, price probably won't change too much.

what alternator did you go with? and from where? how much? i noticed my headlights dim a little at night when i roll the windows up or the bass hits with the volume up a little. i might need to do this.

^same here but i know its the battery but they are so damn expensive, is the the optima red top or yellow top we are supposed to use on the msp? I thought one of them was way too much power

3rd popped. all other gears work but there is noise while moving. I do have a welded LSD, and upgraded clutch so I am not happy to be pulling the tranny again. The good news is I can get it off the car in under an hour and a half now. The bad news is that it couldn't have had worse timing with the holiday and baby on the way.

that is bad timing. were you running gtx 3rd gear?

what are you gonna put back in there?
