What have you done to your MSP today?

You think? Only when the clutch is pressed in it just sounds like a rattle. How long do you think it will last? Im trying to do a clutch flywheel package from Ken (protegegarage) next week but wont have time to install for atleast another week or so

should make it a couple weeks no problem. Just keep the clutch pushed in as little as possible. Throw-out bearings don't go overnight. But, if you're noticing it it has been going for a while. Mine was actually starting to go when my diff went, but you'd have never noticed it without holding the bearing in my hand.

^ nice. and thanks for the info. Today was the first time Ive heard the rattle. So afew weeks huh

Not today but yesterday i replaced my alternator and tomorrow i pick up a return line oring and gasket and those are going on wednesday. The real mods dont come till after christmas.

on sunday I swapped springs on my buddies car with a friend....we did it in less than an hour without spring compressors

wewt!

i replaced my forge wga with an atp wga...the forge wasn't holding steady boost...the atp is doing well...now i need to throw on my joep mbc and set it at 8.5psi and let her run...for some reason, i'm only boosting to 4.5-5psi.

some resolution for me. witht he forge. but it wasnt the forge units fault ;)

got an oil change today, had them put on kartboy hangers as well. the exhaust rattling is almost gone

must have strong fingers then^ lol

nah, you don't need compressors on the msp setup

especially if you know the tricks....you can either release the top hat bolt with the car on the ground, then raise it up and pull off the rest of the strut/spring and continue on....or you can raise the car up and put a jack under the bottom of the strut to release the top hat bolt

I have done it both ways and both work...you can also just remove the top bolt without compressing the spring but it is a little tight, it won't go flying however...but the first way is what I recommend

works on all four corners

well, i just installed my joep pro-z mbc...boost is set at 8psi. between the steed speed mani and mpnick turbo and cat-less 2.5" turbo-back exhaust, power delivery is extremely smooth...i don't have the 'punch in the chest' that i have felt in other turbo'd cars...kinda odd, really.

Filled the MSP full of gas and did a compression test on the gf 6i and it appears that we caught the oil issue on time and didnt do any harm(Stupid POS cracked plastic oil filter housing)!!!

Capped off the vac line to my BOV and running full recirc now! I think I need to adjust the BPV as it sounds like a really bad fluttering sifi sound and loud as hell when compared to running a dual setup.

anyone know the vac line size of the bb? im buying the fittings for my vac block today and need to know what size nozzle to get
