resonator delete and muffle maybe

Not sure if its a great idea, a lot of people have started to regret the droning noise. Just buy a test pipe, and then you can throw the cat back on if you need to sell it.

The mods list in your signature say you're about to do the DP/RP. That's a good next step. You might want to hold off on deleting resos and the muffler until you see how much louder and how much drone at 2500 rpm you get after that, especially when decelerating.

I love the extra power from the DP/RP. But I had to actually ADD an additional reso where the RP is just to tame the droning. I just got tired of the splitting headaches in daily driving.

I can't imagine driving daily a car with 3 inch DP/RP cats delete and no resos or muffler. And I would be a cop magnet for sure.

+1, you beat me to it, I noticed the dp in your sig as well. It might be the right volume for you, if not, then start removing resonators. I know it's hard, but wait on the exhaust mods til your downpipe gets in.

actually im holding off on the downpipe and test pipe until summer now i think. Just bought enkei rsvs some tires and going to buy a sub and the cobb sts for christmas soo my funds are limited. I was thinking do this them maybe just fab up my own exhaust with the straight pipes and adding a muffler. Idk about you guys but i cant bring myself to pay $450 for a catback that gives such minimal gains
