GI: MSP Tubular Mani / Downpipe

oh ok... if i'm going to have to cut the vibrant i guess it might make more sense to get a 3" since it goes from 2.5-3 somewhere along there...not sure what the best transitional would be depending on where it actually matches up... maybe we just gotta wait til the drawings are done :P gonna be sweet tho; either way.

It will be. My plan at this point, I have Vibrant as well, is to mate this DP to my y-pipe with cutout before the flex pipe on the Vibrant. This will allow me to put my high flow back into the Vibrant.

I can't wait to see what the tubular mani will look like. I'm reeeeaaaally in the market for one.

so will the end be before or after that crossmember? i would like to add a cutout before the cross member not after.

how far back is the dp going to go back??

Depends on which model and option your talking about ( i didnt reference the GI list so if your on there, i apologize).

the 2.5" one will go where the stock J ends, and will terminate with a doughnut gasket jsut like the other aftermarket ones so you can put it on any midpipe that currently is avail since they all use that gasket so you can attach it to stock.

the 3.0 one will end in stock location as well if you choose the flanged option. this will include a 2 bolt universal flange. I'll probably include a second one so you have matching ones to mate to your custom or otherwise exhaust.

if you choose unflanged i will probably add 5" or 6" to the end of it so you can add it into your custom or otherwise exhaust however you wish.

Just remember ladies and gentleman. Im doing this as a service to the community, im not a vendor so i cant get super discounts on flanges and acessories. I can tell you where to get them, but if you want me to get them, expect to pay retail + Shipping. (This relates to items not included in the packages im offering).

sweet can't wait ill be wanting a 3.0 with flange, and the extra flange. I don't mind paying retail it will just be nice to get it all from the same place at the same time.

any mach up pics?? anything at all would be nice....

its all digital right now, they are modeling it in cad (this is where they test the flow, and structural integrity and such without wasting material, keeps cost down for you guys). Mockup wont be for a bit. however soon as i get some cad pics of the prototype i will post em.

from what i understand its similar to the mam mani, cause thats the only logical way to get as close to equal length as possible, and make it fit, but all the angles are accounted for. After we went over pics of all the diff manis, they all have runners that come from all directions and leave at all directions. I account this for being hand made. These wont have that, flow is a priority (in other words, they will be consistant as possible from mani to mani). I know this is taking a while, but trust me, it will be worth it.

so the 3 inch 1 piece s and j pipe would link up to the midpipe @ the stock location?

if you want the 2 bolt flange it will*, otherwise it will be longer so you can custom add it in.

* it will be in the stock location, however there is no 3" pipe that will mate to a smaller diameter pipe (stock or 2.5"). It would have to be modified if you were putting it to a smaller pipe.

mani will take the longest. Heres the thing, the place thats making it is full of engineers. smart ones. so they wont accept the cutting of ANY corners what so ever. its tkaing a long time cause they are checking every single angle instead of the old school approach of just building it in the shop and welding it up and seeing how it does on the car. its alot more involved. yes its taking a while but it will be worth it. As soon as i get any sort of pic i will have it here.

the downpipes were delayed because of me. They have all the flanges done now. they are working on the 2.5" and 3" pipes now. they will come much faster than the mani.
